Taught School Sessions

Our Learning & Outreach Officer, Charlotte Pratt offers taught school sessions in the museum, on a variety of topics relating to the national curriculum and the museum’s collections.  Sessions are delivered using real museum objects and schools have access to the whole museum as part of their trip.

Taught school sessions are charged at £3 per pupil, with a minimum charge of £48.

Outreach sessions are £120 (£100 + £20 VAT) for a morning and £210 (£175 + £35 VAT) for a full day.

School Loan Boxes

Our loan boxes contain replicas and/or real objects, as well as object information, notes for teachers and activity ideas. We are continuing to develop new loan boxes so if you can’t see what you need in the list, contact us and we may be able to help.

Loan boxes can be borrowed for a half-term or term, at a cost of £18 per half term  (6 weeks)
